Join our team as a Human Resources Business Partner!
We’re looking for a dynamic and people-centered Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support two of our hotel properties. In this highly visible role, you’ll serve as the trusted HR partner to leaders and team members—driving engagement, performance, and a strong workplace culture. This is primarily an onsite role with one remote day per week. Because our hotels operate 24/7, occasional flexibility for evenings or weekends may be needed to connect with team members across shifts. You’ll report to the Vice President of Human Resources and join a collaborative, supportive HR team that values partnership, integrity, and continuous improvement.
As an HR Business Partner, you will balance strategic partnership with hands-on execution across the full employee lifecycle.
Lead partial-cycle recruiting from job posting through offer
Partner with hiring managers on intake meetings, sourcing strategies, and candidate selection
Create compelling, SEO-optimized job postings
Source candidates via job boards, social media, LinkedIn, career fairs, and community outreach
Review resumes, conduct phone screens, and support interviews as needed
Administer assessments and manage offer letters and background checks
Facilitate onboarding, orientation, and new hire first-day experiences
Conduct 30-day check-ins with new hires and managers
Serve as the first point of contact for team members and leaders at assigned hotels
Coach and guide managers on performance management, leadership skills, and team development
Support disciplinary processes, draft written warnings and PIPs, and assist with investigations
Partner with the VP of HR on complex employee relations matters and terminations
Conduct exit interviews and identify retention opportunities
Identify high-potential performers and support succession planning
Lead engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and cultural events
Coordinate celebrations (birthdays, anniversaries, milestones)
Support leadership development and manager training
Develop and implement retention strategies aligned with business goals
Manage leaves of absence (FMLA, ADA, LOA, Workers’ Compensation)
Ensure compliance with employment laws and workplace policies
Maintain labor law postings and documentation
Support safety initiatives related to workers’ compensation claims
Process employee changes in HRIS and ATS systems
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
3+ years of progressive HR experience
Experience across recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, training, and employment law
Strong coaching and influencing skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
High level of discretion and professionalism with confidential information
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to analyze information and resolve issues effectively
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience with an ATS and HRIS (Workday preferred)
