Delta Dental of Arizona, the state’s #1 dental and vision insurance company, is looking for a dynamic, culture-oriented HR Business Partner who understands how to leverage creative HR solutions to execute organizational strategy.
Reporting to the SVP of People, the HR Business Partner is responsible for executing HR strategies with employees and leaders and formulating partnerships to deliver HR solutions that reflect and reinforce Delta Dental of Arizona's cultural and performance management objectives.
The ideal candidate has a working knowledge of multiple HR functions, including performance management, DEI, recruiting, culture, benefits, payroll, and training/development.
About You
You don’t see the people you work with as employees; they are your customers. As an HR professional, you’ve learned to anticipate your customers' needs because it’s important to you that they are happy with your service. You’re used to having multiple “irons in the fire” and have experience working with mid-to large sized organizations. You learned all you could about the business and the kind of talent it needs, partially because you’re naturally curious, but you also feel more like a business person who specializes in HR than vice versa.
You’ve got all the people skills, but the REAL differentiator for you has been your research, data, and analysis skills. You probably have next-level Excel abilities and a favorite spreadsheet that really hasn’t gotten the attention it deserves. (You can upload it with your resume if you want, I get it.)
Change doesn’t scare you; you’re usually in front of it, helping others get it figured out. It’s just another problem to be solved, and since you’re a creative problem-solver…it’s actually really fun. And the best part is always seeing how the experience sparked growth and development in everyone, including you.
You’ve never complained that “someone ought to do something” because you know you are that someone, and you’ve always felt empowered to make things better.
Sound like you? Please read on!
