 Job Summary

Provides day-to-day Human Resources support, including but not limited to: onboarding, recruitment, benefits administration, salary administration, leave and workers’ compensation administration, compliance, employee relations, HRIS administration, performance management, recordkeeping, employee recognition, and all other duties as assigned.

 Essential Responsibilities 

  • Assist with all recruitment efforts for open positions and provide support and guidance to the hiring managers
  • Coordinate onboarding efforts to include offer letters, complete background check process, and deliver mini/full day orientation sessions
  • Update and maintain HRIS platform with new hires, terminations, and transfers
  • Maintain benefits administration and communication of new hire enrollment details and life status change events
  • Complete benefits invoice reconciliations as needed
  • Coordinate leave of absence efforts and assist with claims filings
  • Assist with payroll and timekeeping processes
  • Maintains EEO-1 and OSHA record keeping and postings as required 
  • Assist with employee relations, progressive discipline, and conflict resolution
  • Coordinate and assist with performance management process for all employees
  • Assist with recordkeeping and required compliance based on federal, state, local standards
  • Maintain employee records and files for current and past employees
  • Ensure separation of employment and required follow up thereafter is completed for departing employees

 Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required in human resources or related field 
  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP preferred
  • 4 to 6 years of related experience in human resources
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Insurable per CHN’s current auto insurance policy standards
  • Must successfully complete and maintain FDLE clearance, Federal background, and state criminal background check and sexual predator screening
