We have an opening at our Tulsa office. The role of a Human Resources Business Partner requires a minimum of two years of experience working in human resources. Intermediate level experience using Microsoft Office Software including SharePoint, Teams, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred. Experience in human resources information system software (HRIS) preferably ADP and Relias. Experience preferred in recruiting activities such as screening resumes, tracking applicants through the selection process. Experience with screening, monitoring, and tracking of applicants for Affirmative Action purposes.


The starting hourly rate for Human Resources Business Partner is $21.50 an hour.

Counseling & Recovery Services of Oklahoma provides mental health and substance abuse treatment, physical health care management and wellness services for over 5,000 children and adults annually. We are Oklahoma's only community mental health center certified in the Sanctuary model of care. Using this model, the agency provides trauma-informed care helping to create an environment of safety, identify and manage emotions, process loss and help clients create a future of growth and change. Due to tremendous growth, we are hiring a Full-Time Human Resources Business Partner Monday-Friday 8:00am- 5:00pm at our Tulsa location. As a member of our CRS team, you will have the opportunity to improve the quality of life for our patients by delivering one-on-one clinical guidance and support.

Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to ensure completeness and accuracy of new hire documents.
  • Ability to deliver effective customer service and work as an effective team member.
  • Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in computer applications, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and HRIS database programs and carrier online administration sites.
  • Ability to effectively navigate on numerous vendor software online, e.g. background checking, training and recruiting web-based sites.
  • Ability to ensure timely completion of candidate pre-employment processes.
  • Ability to effectively utilize open communication and willingness to social learning opportunities.
  • Ability to work self-directed and consistently to accomplish duties with limited supervision.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously; work with a sense of urgency, while exhibiting a calm demeanor, focus and sustaining energy.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of organization of work.
  • Ability to cross train on recruiting related activities to provide backup assistance for other areas in Human Resources.
  • Ability to complete various research projects and/or special projects.



Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Monitors selection processes and reports on applicant turnaround time and tracking to supervisor.
  • Ensures information is gathered and entered into ADP for Affirmative Action plan adherence, which includes supervisor's hiring process tracking (applicants contacted, interviewed and rejected including reasons for rejecting candidates.).
  • Ensure documentation/reporting is maintained on recruiting sources for each job posting. Also, formal tracking for employees across the agency.
  • Prepare New Hire Orientation Manuals and track attendance.
  • Assist with the timely processing of personal actions such as new hires, benefit enrollments and changes, staff transfers, merit increases, promotions and terminations as needed.
  • Set up new hire information and maintain employee information in systems, e.g. HRIS, Excel spreadsheets.
  • Assists in creating and maintaining all employee files while ensuring filing methodologies and retention comply with appropriate regulatory agencies.
  • Acts as backup for various departmental reporting as needed, e.g. PEF, training.
  • Maintains confidential information with extreme sensitivity.
  • Assist with preparation of files and/or other information for regulatory site reviews and audits, e.g. ODMHSAS.
  • Creates welcoming environment and provides excellent customer service.
  • Will provide support in other areas as needed and serve as back up to maintain customer service and workflows. For example: Prepare and post jobs to various sources. Screen resumes and forward to appropriate hiring manager.
  • Support and promote a service environment for individuals in need of behavioral health and/or co-occurring services that is recovery focused, welcoming, and attentive to the needs of individuals who may have experienced trauma in their lives.
  • Backup for benefits orientation and assist with benefits enrollments.
  • Assign courses, update staff completions, and run reports in Relias.


Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or requested by other Leadership team members.


Physical Requirements: Must be able to move from location to location, bending, stooping, lifting 25 pounds, communicate clearly, prepare written communications, present information to other employees, process complex information within established procedures/programs, enter data to various programs. Must be able to climb stairs and access non-handicapped equipped residences/facilities.
