The Human Resource function’s mission includes developing and executing talent strategies and practices that support business objectives, addressing performance gaps, strengthening the company’s core capabilities, ensuring compliance and managing risk. The main focus of work involves performance management and enhancement, engagement and retention, leadership assessment and development and human capital-related operational excellence. As a key member of the team, the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) provides HR partnership and guidance to leadership and employees with the goal of helping to raise both manager and employee capability and effectiveness.

Pay Details: $90,000-$120,000/year
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.

Provides primary support and partnership to leaders to ensure maximum productivity, engagement, retention and operational discipline against key human capital metrics.
Understands key business/performance metrics and provides partnership, thought leadership and guidance within that context.
Identifies general trends, concerns and location-specific issues and partners with leadership and other stakeholders on the appropriate solution.
Maintains a philosophy consistent with the company’s values and objectivity in balancing the interests of all stakeholders and being an advocate and advisor for all.

Other
Support oversight of the HR shared email inbox by responding to inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.
Evaluates/manages leave of absence requests in conjunction with HR leadership.
Assists with the company’s safety program administration as appropriate, including coordinating with the third-party workers compensation administrator as needed.
Leads specific initiatives, as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources or other related field.
PHR, SPHR or CPHR certification strongly preferred.
A minimum of 5 years of HR generalist, partner or employee relations experience – ideally in a multi-unit environment.
Property management industry experience a plus.
Must be willing to travel to the company’s properties located in Puget Sound and, occasionally, outside of Washington State.
Valid driver's license.
Successful completion of background check and drug screen required.
Must be legally qualified to work in the U.S. meeting I-9 guidelines.
