Purpose

The Human Resources Business Partner works closely with management and employees providing guidance on performance metrics and processes, acts as a strategic advisor to leadership, provides insight on employee-related issues: Policy guidance and interpretation, advises employee relations concerns, conducts investigations, coaching/development, performance management, organizational development, and occasional training.


Responsibilities

  • Develop people strategies and design approaches for diagnosing and enhancing organizational effectiveness and employee satisfaction, implementing employee engagement programs
  • Assist with HR processes across products (performance calibration and promotions)
  • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs handbook updates and policies
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations
  • Analyze and interpret various types of employee reports (e.g., retention and attrition) to guide decision making and provide proactive solutions
  • Assist and present with value-added programs in areas of training and career development
  • Educate managers on compensation practices, including compensation, performance feedback, performance calibration, and career transitions
  • Conduct new employee orientation monthly on a quarterly rotation
  • Ensure all new employees are properly equipped
  • Stay abreast of State, Federal, and Company compliance and regulations throughout human resources best practices
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
  • Assists international employees with expatriate assignments and related HR matters
  • Provide a positive work environment
  • Maintain working knowledge of relevant FDA CFRs, AATB standards, and internal policies and procedures
  • Report to Human Resources Leadership of roadblocks and provide solution-based recommendations
  • Report to work in-person and start job duties on time for established shift
  • Complete required hours on assigned works shift to complete assigned responsibilities and duties
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to secure and maintain a favorable background investigation and clearance

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or equivalent from an accredited college or university preferred
  • At least 2-5 years of experience in human resources or equivalent required
  • aPHR, PHR or professional certification is preferred
  • Clearance of favorable background investigation required
