JOB SUMMARY
The Human Resources Business Partner is responsible for providing HR guidance and support to an assigned business line.
DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNTIONS
- Onboard new hires using an automated HR Operating System (ADP).
- Resolve leadership and employee HR inquiries promptly.
- Manages the HR email inbox.
- Interpret policies for leadership and staff.
- Collaborate closely with business line leaders, providing guidance on people-related matters, and align HR practices with business goals, ensuring organizational effectiveness.
- Serves as an advisor by consulting and coaching leaders and employees on policies, challenges, and areas of opportunities they may have.
- Empower leadership to handle people matters confidently.
- Responsible for investigating employee relations claims, identify issue, and propose appropriate action, if necessary, that is consistent across all companies.
- Lead organizational change initiatives with proven ability to influence leaders to required outcomes in applying best practice principles in employment law, compliance, workforce planning, succession, engagement, total rewards, and compensation.
- Independently design, own, lead, and successfully implement human resources operations initiatives and projects.
- Ensure compliance with labor regulations.
- Providing new hires with new hire orientation to include explanations of benefits and the enrolment process.
- Serves as a global subject matter expert for an assigned human resources program across all companies to include but not limited to overseeing FMLA, LOA, and ADA Accommodations.
- Issue and oversee employee performance reviews.
- Maintain employee files and records in electronic form.
- Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have previous work experience as a human resources generalist, HRBP, or comparable Human Resources role. May consider previous experience working in the legal field with understanding of employment laws and regulations.
- Must have previous work experience successfully handling FMLA and other Leave of Absences.
- Must have a strong working knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 Office Suite, including Microsoft Teams
- Experienced working with multiple software platforms
- Must keep up to date with employment laws and regulations.
- Ability to build collaborative and productive working relationships.
- Works well in a fast-paced environment, flexible, able to change direction quickly and manage projects through ambiguity and constant change.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, able to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously while delivering on commitments.
- Excellent communication skills in written and verbal form.
- Solid sense of accountability, high-quality judgment, and sound decision-making.

- Must be able to work in office three days a week or as needed.
Preferred
- Previous work experience using ADP preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred. May consider experience in leu of degree.
- 5 years HRBP or HR Generalist experience strongly preferred.
REQUIRED EDUCATION / LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
