Job Summary: 
We are currently seeking an HR Business Partner (HRBP) to act as a collaborator through aligning HR practices with business goals, providing HR guidance, and resolving employee relations issues to improve work relationships and productivity. This role will be responsible for driving business performance through effective people management, providing strategic HR solutions, and supporting organizational growth.
This is a remote position; however, it requires an average of 75% travel to our clinical locations.
Additionally, periodic travel to the corporate office will be required for meetings and planning sessions.

The ideal candidate will reside in Louisville, KY.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Strategic Alignment:

  • Collaborate with leadership to align HR strategies with the company’s overall objectives and goals.
  • Develop and implement HR initiatives that support the business’s long-term strategic vision.
  • Ensure HR programs and policies are in line with business needs, priorities, and challenges.

Business Acumen:

  • Guide on HR matters to leaders and managers, tailoring solutions to meet business-specific challenges and opportunities.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitors to advise on talent management and business optimization.

Consulting and Coaching:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, offering HR-related guidance and solutions.
  • Provide coaching to leaders on effective people management, performance improvement, and leadership development.
  • Support leaders in resolving employee issues, ensuring effective team dynamics and performance.

Employee Relations:

  • Manage complex employee relations matters, ensuring a fair, consistent, and legally compliant approach to conflict resolution.
  • Advise leaders on performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolutions to foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Promote a culture of transparency, trust, and respect within the organization.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyze HR data, including turnover, employee engagement, performance, and other metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Change Management:

  • Lead and support change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions during organizational changes, restructures, or transformations.
  • Partner with leaders to communicate change effectively, manage employee concerns, and ensure a seamless adoption of new processes or structures.
  • Lead and support the building of a resilient organizational culture.

Communication and Leadership:

  • Exhibit strong communication skills to effectively interact with employees, management, and other stakeholders.
  • Influence and motivate others at all levels of the organization, fostering alignment and buy-in for HR programs and initiatives.
  • Lead HR initiatives by collaborating with other departments to drive organizational success.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Abilities:
•3+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in an HR Business Partner role.
• Proven ability to implement HR strategies that align with business objectives.
• Strong knowledge of multi-state and federal employment laws and HR best practices (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, etc.).
• Experience handling employee relations issues and conducting workplace investigations.
• Proficiency with HRIS systems and HR analytics (experience with Paylocity or similar systems preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with employees, managers, and senior leaders.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Experience with talent management, performance management, and succession planning.
• Strong change management and organizational development skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • HR certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP preferred
  • Experience in place of degree will be considered
