Summary:

Provides consultation and tactical support to management on HR related issues. Assesses and anticipates HR-related needs and communicates those needs with the HR department and leaders. Resolves department issues and makes a positive impact to the business.

Additional Information:

Required Education:

High school diploma or GED or equivalent

Recommended Education:

Bachelor's degree in a related field of study.

Required Work Experience:

Related Field - Six years of related experience

Description

1. Consults with department management, providing guidance related to HR policies or other needs.

2. Serves as liaison between departments and HR Service areas.

3. Ensures compliance with employment and labor laws and regulations.

4. Develops relationships with employees and department management to improve working relationships, build engagement and morale and increase employee retention.

5. Acts as neutral approachable mediator to resolve issues between employees, management and the organization.

6. Conducts periodic meetings with departments and their respective leaders to proactively identify concerns, external trends and issues in the industry that could potentially impact the business and develop action plans accordingly.

7. Understands the business operations, market, competitive environment to make recommendations that will correlate to organizational success.

8. Facilitates meetings to address disputes as a precursor to other established appeal, grievance or complaint procedures.

9. Conducts investigations, mediates, applies corrective actions and manages employee relation issues.

10. Provide change management leadership as needed.
