We're looking for a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team in Vancouver, WA—someone who operates as a trusted advisor, thoughtful strategist, and confident partner to business leaders.
In this role, you won’t just support the business—you’ll help shape it. You’ll work closely with leaders across our West Coast teams to diagnose challenges, influence decisions, and build people strategies that drive performance, engagement, and growth. This is an opportunity for someone who is both analytical and intuitive, who asks smart questions, and who brings a point of view grounded in experience, data, and sound judgment.
If you’re someone who thinks beyond the immediate ask and is motivated by making a meaningful impact through people, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
- Act as a strategic partner to business leaders; providing insight, coaching, and perspective to drive team and organizational effectiveness.
- Translate business priorities into people strategies, aligning talent, structure, and culture with company goals.
- Navigate complex employee relations matters with sound judgment, discretion, and a solutions-oriented approach.
- Build strong, credible relationships through proactive engagement and thoughtful counsel.
- Partner with leaders on talent planning, performance management, and organizational design to build high-performing teams.
- Use data, insights, and trends to inform decisions, identify risks, and uncover opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to attract and build diverse, high-impact teams.
- Lead and support change management efforts by helping teams navigate growth and transformation effectively.
- Influence and guide leaders on compensation strategy, employee engagement, and development planning.
- Contribute to HR programs, training, and initiatives that strengthen leadership capability and employee experience.
- Ensure compliance and consistency while thoughtfully interpreting policies in a way that supports the business.
What You Bring:
- 3+ years of progressive HR experience, including time operating as a true business partner to leaders
- Strong knowledge of Washington and California employment law
- A strategic mindset with the ability to connect the dots between people, performance, and business outcomes
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills—you assess situations holistically and offer well-reasoned solutions
- Confidence to influence and challenge leaders constructively, backed by data and insight
- Experience managing employee relations and investigations with professionalism and sound judgment
- A track record of building trust-based relationships across diverse teams and perspectives
- Strong communication skills—clear, direct, and thoughtful in both written and verbal interactions
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- A proactive, self-directed approach—you take ownership and move work forward independently
- Comfort with HR systems and tools (experience with ADP Workforce Now is a plus)
This is a hybrid role that will require you to commute to our New York office a minimum of three days a week.
