We are in search of a part time Human Resources Coordinator. This position will primarily be a remote role, but will require visits to our Chula Vista Office. Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Hiring: including recruitment, Onboarding (creation/processing/filing paperwork, receipt of signed documents, assign/coordinate trainings), all departments notified
- Terminations: Communication with management, all offboarding documentation, pay, signed documents, ensure equipment returned and all access cancelled
- Preparation and revision of all HR documents (job descriptions, contracts, policies, etc.)
- Maintain/organize and keep personnel records and HR files updated, internally and within the payroll platforms
- Oversee Health & Benefits Administration Team – Ensure proper communication and documentation are completed
- Monitor employee review cycles and ensure managers are meeting their deadlines
- Ensure legal compliance with new laws as notified by payroll platforms and management
- Monitor HR email, respond to all inquiries and file all necessary communications and documentation as appropriate
- Liaise with management & HR Experts for complicated complaints/conflicts and document
- Distribute and monitor necessary employee trainings and required employment posters
- Review employee handbook at least yearly and update/distribute when needed.
- Prepare reports for management as needed
- Monitor Payroll email, respond to inquiries and file as needed.
- Process bi-weekly payroll, confirming final QC of hours, expenses and benefits
- Responsible for downloading all Payroll Tax Filing documents, employee timecards, reports and expense reimbursement reports from Payroll platform to HR folders
