Overview:
Supports project teams using a wide range of developing human resources skills. Strong written and interpersonal communication with all levels in the organization. Eager to learn, highly organized and willing to contribute creatively to the team.
Responsibilities:
- Establishes and maintains positive and professional working relationships with internal and external customers and vendors
- Completes onboarding process in HRIS system (e.g. Workday) and supports the overall onboarding process
- Coordinates and conducts new hire orientation on an ongoing basis
- Coordinates and processes I-9s for new hires in collaboration with HR team and HR Touchpoints across offices
- Proactively monitors and responds to HR email inbox inquiries; escalating questions as needed to the appropriate team member
- Regularly maintains Source pages in collaboration with HR team
- Drafts and edits HR policies and processes, job descriptions, and other HR materials with attention to detail and consistency
- Conducts audits of HRIS records to ensure data accuracy
- Supports ad hoc employee changes in HRIS systems such as manager updates and data changes submitted by employees
- Processes departing employees and all corresponding paperwork
- Conducts exit interviews for respective employees; analyzes data and makes recommendations to Talent leadership for corrective action and continuous improvement
- Processes contractor data changes such as hires, status changes and departures
- Demonstrates sense of urgency in coordinating and responding to Requests for Information (RFIs)/Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and certification information for HR-related requests
- Supports project teams with client's credentialing process (e.g., scheduling drug screening requests, as applicable)
- Maintains process on conducting background checks when requested for project needs
- Researches emerging employment regulations (federal, state, local) and assists with coordinating compliance implementation and documentation
- Partners with HR Touchpoints across offices on launching and coordinating various HR items throughout the year
- Collaborates to coordinate Month of Service (firm community volunteer initiative) for the Talent team
- Collaborates on drafting HR communications
- Assists with implementing and maintaining ongoing and annual employee recognition initiatives
- Assists with verification of employment requests
- Assists with immigration, including verification letters, postings and files
- Maintains digital personnel files throughout the employee lifecycle
- Performs work in a manner that demonstrates an awareness of and an appreciation for the firm’s cultural values, including a commitment to quality, innovation, learning and growth
- Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Professional degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Psychology or related degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in Human Resources in a corporate firm strongly preferred
- Experience in the use of HRIS systems (Workday) strongly preferred
- Experience in MS Office Suite; strong Excel and analytical skills
- Experience in Adobe Suite preferred
- Basic knowledge of human resources best practices, policies, procedures and employment law
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of staff
- Ability to hold sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality
- Ability to work under strict guidelines, competing priorities and immediate requests
- Ability to communicate and present ideas in a clear, concise and professional manner both verbally and in writing
- Ability to problem solve and apply innovative solutions
- Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment
- Ability to effectively meet deadlines at expected quality
- In Office Days Requirement: 3 days required in the Dallas office
