GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

Health Plus Management is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Coordinator to support a wide range of HR functions including onboarding, employee records management, HRIS data entry, and employee engagement initiatives. This role is essential in ensuring smooth HR operations and delivering a positive employee experience across the organization.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process and verify new hire documentation and ensure compliance with employment eligibility (I-9, E-Verify).
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in both paper and electronic formats.
  • Enter and update employee data in HRIS
  • Support onboarding processes, including orientation scheduling, equipment coordination, and follow-up check-ins.
  • Assist with HR transactions such as promotions, transfers, salary changes, and terminations.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
  • Collaborate with Payroll, Finance, and other departments to ensure data accuracy and policy alignment.
  • Generate and submit HR reports and support audits as needed.
  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives and internal events to foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Support HR Generalists with immigration documentation and compliance.
  • Conduct research and assist with special HR projects and initiatives.
  • Assist with department invoices
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE 

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • 2–3 years of experience in an HR support role, preferably in healthcare or a similarly fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms preferred.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices, including I-9 and E-Verify compliance.



SKILLS & ABILITIES 

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organziation
  • Able to lift 10-15 lbs.


COMPENSATION

Range between $20.00 - $23.00 per hour, based on experience
