The Human Resource Coordinator provides assistance to our human resources function and team. This position supports, coordinates and troubleshoots across HR topics, including HR programs & policies and assists with recruiting, onboarding and offboarding as needed while effectively conveying HR information in a clear and understandable manner in a timely fashion. This role supports corporate and store employees.
How You’ll Make a Difference:
- Perform customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions. Coordinate the escalation and help resolve employee issues and questions across Payroll and HR while ensuring all parties are aligned and updated along the way.
- HRIS Data Entry for onboarding new hires and sending offer letters. Main Data Entry point of contact for all changes to employee profile including promotions, job changes, transfers and terminations.
- Submit and assist with new employee background checks.
- Help to verify I-9 documentation and maintain that they are current.
- Support the onboarding process for all incoming employees. This includes ensuring all onboarding requirements are met in a timely manner, logistics are coordinated across Talent Acquisition, Operations, HR, IT and employee & manager have a smooth experience.
- Participate in new hire orientation meetings, updates decks and assists with org charts as needed.
- Work with Talent Acquisition processing job requisition request by posting jobs and removing jobs when filled; Help sponsor jobs on Indeed; Help allocate Indeed invoices with accounts payable.
- Prepare new employee files and ensure documents are in appropriate employee files.
- Collaborate and assist the HR team as needed on reports and audits to ensure overall data quality and accuracy.
- Support HR projects as needed

Required Education and Experience
- Preferred bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, and/or equivalent experience.
- 2-3 years of experience in Human Resources in a national company.
- Preferred experience in Paylocity, Checkr, Zoom, Google Teams, Microsoft Office suite, tech savvy.
- Must be able to embody our culture and values and be a thriving HR team member and company champion; Must have a passion for HR.
- Must be able to multi-task with efficiency and have excellent time management skills
- Work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Working knowledge of topics across HR functional areas, including Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Organizational Development, HR Systems/Operations, HR Compliance, and Payroll
- Problem-solving skills; think critically about problems and know how to leverage your resources to package solutions
- Strong client facing / interpersonal skills and passion for delivering positive experiences and building relationships with teams and partners
- Ability to analyze processes within a cross-functional organization, proficient at prioritizing new and improved processes
- Ability to work independently, as well as within a collaborative team setting
- Must be comfortable collaborating with senior HR and business leaders
