Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Human Resources Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department. This position plays a key role in facilitating HR processes and providing administrative support across a wide range of functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, records management, and HRIS administration.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate tracking, scheduling interviews, and sending follow-up correspondence.
  • Coordinate and conduct new hire orientation sessions.
  • Verify and maintain I-9 documentation and files.
  • Support the completion of background checks and other onboarding requirements.
  • Assist with the preparation and execution of the performance review process.
  • Maintain and audit employee records in physical files and HRIS.
  • Assist in payroll and benefits, and recommend corrective actions as needed.
  • Support employee offboarding and termination processes.
  • Respond to employee inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Schedule meetings, interviews, and other HR-related activities as needed.
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR department, including correspondence, document handling, and file organization.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources is required.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of related HR or administrative experience.
  • SHRM-CP certification preferred.
  • Willing to travel between warehouse locations when required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS platforms.
  • Working knowledge of general HR principles and employment law.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds on occasion.
