Position Purpose
A versatile position within a dynamic nonprofit that provides
community-inspired, volunteer-powered disaster relief. This position is full-time and is responsible for supporting the People team, Human Resources functions, and program teams with administrative tasks and assisting with the creation and implementation of departmental projects.

- Reports to Senior Human Resources Manager

Essential Functions
- Responsible for all aspects of background and MVR checks for staff, support VCM’s with volunteer checks, including annual checks, financial assistance, correcting errors in Sterling, review and approve Sterling billing reports.
- Support program teams with onboarding, offboarding, status changes, transfers and general HR questions/ inquiries
- Conduct monthly check-ins with Program Directors of each program
- Lead administrator for BBHR Community: engage with departments and interest groups to stimulate content and engagement
- Manage Learning Management System and guide creators/trainers in creating quality content
- Maintain the People sections of the Portal (intranet) with updated policies, documents, etc. and the HR Channel on Slack
- Assist in collecting and compiling information for biweekly People email
- Respond to and forward voicemails from the main receptionist phone line.

Position Requirements
- Education High school diploma or equivalent required
- Related Experience Previous All Hands and Hearts experience preferred. 1+ years experience in Human Resources preferred. Experience with BambooHR, Salesforce a plus.
- Special Competencies/Certifications Must maintain strict confidentiality.
Good written and oral communication skills and confident working with Google Workspace, particularly Google Docs and Google Sheets; and Microsoft Office. The individual needs to be extremely well organized and have a professional, flexible approach to managing multiple tasks and prioritizing them appropriately. The individual is able to manage a large workload and perform in a fast-paced environment. Must maintain complete confidentiality of all HR-related information.

Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation Typical starting salary is $38,668-$42,169 USD based on skills and experience., and up to $45,939 for highly qualified candidates.
