What we are looking for:

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, has the ability to maintain the utmost confidentiality, and is dedicated to providing excellent customer service to all levels of the organization. Our ideal candidate is a team player who is excited to learn more about human resources, payroll, and benefits. You’ll have the opportunity to partner closely with HR teammates and cross-functional departments across the organization. 

What you’ll do:

  • Work cross-functionally to assist with executing HR-related functions including: recruiting, onboarding, payroll, employee development, recognition, verifications of employment, team member engagement initiatives, and training.

  • Respond to general HR/benefits/payroll related questions timely and accurately, escalating more complex questions to the appropriate team members as needed.

  • Monitor the HR inbox, assigning and/or responding to inquiries as appropriate.  

  • Act as the first point of contact for incoming calls to HR. 

  • Maintain HR files and records, with an emphasis on accuracy, thoroughness, and confidentiality.

  • Monitor completion of all I-9s and E-Verify work authorizations to ensure compliance.

  • Provide support to the Payroll Manager on payroll weeks as needed.

  • Provide back up coverage to the Corporate Receptionist as needed. 

  • Assist with HR-related initiatives including annual performance reviews, merit planning, open enrollment, team member development, anniversary awards, and recognition events.

  • Execute special projects and assist with the ideation and rollout of new HR-related initiatives. 

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Experience: 

  • At least one year of prior HR experience preferred, but not required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field

  • Moderate level of technical skills, comfortable working with office equipment (printers, scanner, etc.) and software including the Microsoft Office and Google suites

  • Prior HRIS experience a benefit; ADP a plus.


Work Environment and Physical Requirements: 

Administrative office may have minimum visits to medical offices with possible exposure to procedure/exam room and laboratory environment may include exposure to communicable diseases, bloodborne pathogens, biohazards or toxic substances. Daily activities may include standing, walking, sitting, bending and lifting items up to 30 lbs.
