WCTractor is looking for a highly motivated HR Coordinator to join our team at our Corporate Office in Brenham, TX. In this role, you’ll manage critical HR functions with a high degree of independence, confidentiality, and attention to detail—all while working alongside a team that takes the work seriously, but never takes ourselves too seriously.
Independently process and manage payroll in Paycom, including timecard audits, corrections, bonuses, and final pay
Lead onboarding for new hires, from I-9s and E-Verify to Day-1 readiness and access provisioning
Coordinate benefits administration for new hires, life events, and open enrollment
Be the go-to person for HR questions and provide clear, respectful support to employees across all departments
Collaborate with IT to manage secure systems access, email, Teams, CDK, Intellidealer, and more
Support compliance efforts, personnel file audits, and standard reporting
Represent the HR department with professionalism, discretion, and integrity—every single day
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field (or graduating soon)
1–2 years of experience in HR, payroll, or benefits preferred (internship experience counts!)
Strong understanding of HR principles and practices
High level of discretion, confidentiality, and judgment—you’ll be trusted with sensitive information from day one
Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ideally experience with Paycom
Bonus points if you’ve worked with CDK or Intellidealer
This role handles sensitive employee data, including salary, medical information, and employment records. We expect the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism in everything you do. We trust you to know a lot—and say very little.
