We are seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at Independent Living Systems (ILS). ILS, along with its affiliated health plans known as Florida Community Care and Florida Complete Care, is committed to promoting a higher quality of life and maximizing independence for all vulnerable populations.

About the Role:

The Human Resources Coordinator in the Health Care Services industry plays a pivotal role in supporting the HR department to ensure smooth and efficient operations. This position is responsible for coordinating internal mobility, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance activities to foster a positive and supportive work environment. The role requires close collaboration with various departments to address staffing transitions and support employee development initiatives. The Coordinator will also manage HR documentation and assist in implementing policies that align with healthcare regulations and organizational goals. Ultimately, this position contributes to building a motivated, well-informed, and compliant workforce that supports the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Human Resources role, preferably within the healthcare sector.
  • Relevant experience may substitute for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional HR certification such as PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent.
  • Experience with healthcare-specific HR software and applicant tracking systems.
  • Familiarity with employee benefits administration and payroll processing.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the full internal mobility process, including transfer and promotion requests, interview facilitation, and approval tracking, while ensuring timely and compliant execution.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal candidates, providing clear communication and support throughout the mobility process to ensure a positive experience.
  • Facilitate onboarding for new hires and internal transfers by coordinating orientation activities and ensuring timely completion of all required documentation and system updates.
  • Maintain accurate employee records related to position changes, promotions, and internal movements in accordance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies.
  • Assist in HR reporting, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives related to onboarding and internal transitions to support workforce alignment and regulatory compliance.
