  • Serve as a go-to resource for employees with HR-related questions

Recruit & Hire Great People

  • Support recruiting efforts by posting job openings, coordinating interviews, conduct pre-screenings, and communicating with candidates
  • Track applicants through the hiring process and help create a smooth, positive candidate experience
  • Assist with offer letters, background checks, drug screenings, and other pre-employment requirements
  • Coordinate start dates, conduct new hire orientations, and support training schedules

Assist with Benefits & Payroll

  • Help employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and general questions
  • Review time records, track PTO, and assist with payroll audits
  • Respond to basic payroll and benefits inquiries and know when to escalate

Help Keep Us Compliant

  • Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and required trainings
  • Assist with audits, inspections, and reporting requests
  • Track and report HR metrics such as onboarding completion, turnover, and training compliance

Support Employee Relations & HR Operations

  • Provide administrative support for employee relations matters, including documentation and meeting coordination
  • Assist HR leadership with investigations, corrective actions, and policy enforcement
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, internal communications, and HR projects

  • Familiarity with California employment laws preferred
  • Experience using HRIS and payroll systems (Paycom, ADP, or similar)
  • Strong organization skills, attention to detail, and follow-through
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
