Human Resources Coordinator - Bensalem, PA

Hadco Metal Trading Co., LLC, a leader in the distribution and processing of semi-finished metal products including aluminum, stainless steel, carbon, related alloys, and engineering grade plastics. Our facilities are located throughout the United States. 

Position Summary:

Hadco Metals, US Corporate Headquarters in Bensalem, PA is hiring a Human Resources Coordinator to assist the HR Manager with payroll, benefits, LOA, recruiting, enforcing policies/procedures, and more. This is a great opportunity for someone with prior HR experience or a recent graduate looking to begin a career in Human Resources. 

Role & Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of various recruiting platforms for job postings and recruitment.
• Assist in interviewing for open positions throughout the US.   
• Conduct onboarding and orientation for new hires.
• Process background checks and drug screens through current providers for new hires following multi-state legal statutes. 
• Verify and maintain I-9 documentation, ensuring compliance with USCIS Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification.
• Create and maintain personnel files for new and existing personnel.
• Participate in the development of department goals, objectives, and systems.
• Maintain compliance with federal and multi-state employment laws and regulations.
• Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, LOA, disciplinary matters, performance, talent management, employee engagement, occupational health and safety, and training and development. 

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or equivalent experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Knowledge of federal and multi-state labor laws.
• Experience in recruiting, benefit administration, and workers compensation.
• Employee relations and conflict management experience a plus.
• Experience with Paylocity a plus.
