The Role:

 

 

We’re seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and compliance-minded HR Coordinator to provide essential administrative and operational support within the Human Resources department. This role ensures the accuracy and confidentiality of employee records, assists with key HR processes, and helps maintain compliance with federal, state, and company requirements. The HR Coordinator supports programs related to onboarding, benefits, engagement, and workplace safety while contributing to efficient and consistent HR operations. By maintaining organized systems and accurate documentation, this position plays an integral role in ensuring efficient and compliant HR operations.

 

 

 

 

 

 

What You’ll Do:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • Process and track leave of absence requests, ADA accommodations, workers’ compensation claims, and OSHA reporting as directed.
  • Coordinate onboarding, orientations, and benefits enrollment, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of required documentation.

  • Maintain and update employee files, HR databases, and compliance records in accordance with confidentiality, federal, and state regulations.

  • Support HR programs such as employee appreciation initiatives, wellness activities, and engagement events.

  • Prepare reports and track metrics related to turnover, retention, training, and compliance requirements.

  • Ensure compliance postings, I-9 audits, and other required federal/state documentation are maintained and updated.

  • Assist with HRIS audits and help ensure compliance with FLSA and overtime regulations.

  • Support HR projects and initiatives, including policy updates, training sessions, and compensation administration.

  • Handle employee information and HR documentation with the highest degree of confidentiality and discretion.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred (will consider years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree)
  • 1-2 years of administrative support experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills and dedication to meeting deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks appropriately
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Working knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
  • Proficiency with and the ability to quickly learn the organizations’ HRIS system (and other systems as needed)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
