Description

General Summary of Job Duties:

Responsible for HR operations and benefit administration support. Process new Team Members and maintain files.  Maintain employee information with Paycom and ADP. Main duties will include answering phone calls, reviewing incoming mail and distributing accordingly, assisting Team Members with online recruitment system, filing of Team Members’ paperwork, and benefits support.

 

Principle Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Maintain Excellent Guest Service standards outlined by Silverton Casino, LLC.
  • Discuss personnel needs with department supervisors.
  • Provide information on company facilities and job opportunities to potential applicants.
  • Pre-screen applicants to obtain required information during onboarding process.
  • Screen and refer qualified applicants to the department hiring personnel for follow up interview.
  • Administer the background process, refer applicants for drug screen, and maintain the logbook of results.
  • Prepare onboarding for all new team members in accordance with state and federal laws.
  • Maintain departmental filing system and record systems, as assigned or required.
  • Responsible for processing Team Members’ information, including but not limited to, forms regarding hires, transfers, terminations, salary adjustments, paid time off, performance evaluations, address, name changes, and wage increases.
  • Distributes monthly work cards and evaluation reports when assigned.
  • Notifies the departments of overdue evaluations and expired work cards when assigned.
  • Orders and maintains office supplies when assigned.
  • May assist Human Resources leadership team in researching and preparing sensitive investigative information as assigned.
  • Must maintain confidentiality and security of relevant information at all times.
  • Maintain an awareness of applicable laws and operate within those guidelines.

 

Job Specifications:

  • Demonstrated record of successful interpersonal skills regarding working with diverse people and levels of authority.
  • Multi-task ability in HR Operations and Benefits Administration.
  • Knowledge and experience with computers and software programs to include word processing and spreadsheets such as Word for Windows and Excel.
  • Must have the ability to work with payroll and human resources system Paycom & ADP.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
  • This position requires sufficient experience, education and job knowledge to meet current business needs.

  • 1-3 years of HR Operations preferred.
