Summary:

This position will provide administrative and coordination services both internally and externally. This role support organizational efficiencies in areas including HR administration, compliance, and continuity.

 

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Drive background check compliance.
  • Coordinate pre-employment set up which includes pre-onboarding communications, systems credentials, and internal follow ups.
  • Facilitate new hire onboarding, employee orientation and new hire standard training.
  • Employee satisfaction engagement such as feedback initiatives, surveys, internal retention interviews, lunch & learns, or other events.
  • May participate in ISO 9000 compliance, audits, implementation and related activities.
  • Coordinate with the Human Resource team on policy updates and interpretation as needed.
  • Employee offboarding including exit interviews through 3rd party
  • Navigate HRIS for key reporting purposes.
  • Assist with project development on training/compensation/succession structures
  • Managing internal HR helpdesk email and communications for active employees.
  • May assist recruiting with interview scheduling and coordination.
  • Some clerical responsibilities including filing, new employee file creation, visitor and employee badging.
  • Front lobby visitor reception as needed.
  • Assist with overall departmental functions and administrative tasks as needed.

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • An Associate’s Degree in Business Administration or similar with 1-2 years of experience or the equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • Understanding of the principles, concepts and practices of the Human Resources Management is required.  
  • HRIS knowledge/experience is a plus.
  • MS Office and Outlook experience. 
  • Customer service experience required.
  • Strong degree of internal/external professionalism and business etiquette.

 

Responsibility for Quality Procedures or Direct Product Quality:

  • Adheres to Universal Quality System policies and procedures and uses Total Cycle Time principles and standard problem-solving tools to continuously improve work processes.

 

Physical Demands:

  • Requires the ability to use a computer on a daily basis. 
  • May have to remain stationary for extended periods.
  • Needs to be mobile enough to navigate through work areas; reasonable accommodations made if needed.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with colleagues and in giving presentations.

Target Hourly Pay Rate: $22.00/hr - $25.00/hr + Robust Benefits
