Description

We are seeking a part-time Human Resources Coordinator who is passionate about fostering a positive workplace culture and delivering an exceptional employee experience. Working closely with the HR leaders, this role supports the mission, vision, and strategic priorities of the organization while providing essential administrative and clerical support across all facets of the HR department. Responsibilities include scheduling meetings, trainings, and conferences; assisting with communications and correspondence; processing documentation; managing mail flow; and supporting administrative staff meetings with agendas, note-taking, and follow-ups. This position offers hands-on experience across multiple areas of human resources in a collaborative and engaging environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, approachable, and eager to build HR expertise with a growth mindset while making a meaningful impact in creating a workplace where people truly thrive.

Qualifications

  • Associate Degree, currently studying towards a degree in human resource management or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • General understanding of HR policies and procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Working knowledge of U.S labor laws and regulations required.
  • Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software is preferred.
  • Proficiency in English required; proficiency in Spanish preferred.
  • Strong computer and documentation skills (particularly in Microsoft Office, Word processing, Excel spreadsheet, Publisher, and Applicant Tracking Systems) preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience working in an office environment strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills required.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work and communicate (outwardly and in writing) with individuals with a broad range of experience and skill levels.
