Description

Versatile Vehicles, Inc. is the regional distributor for E-Z-GO and Textron vehicles, covering Minnesota, Western Wisconsin, and North Dakota. Our 60,000 square foot Prior Lake location serves as our home office and serves as a hub to serve our entire territory and 4 additional retail locations.


The Human Resources Generalist will office in our Prior Lake Headquarters. This location is home to 35 employees out of the 50 total employees. Currently , HR functions are lead by the Financial Controller. The new HR Generalist will work with the Controller to solidify practices and procedures in establishing this new role. This will be a fun and rewarding challenge for an established HR professional. The Ideal candidate will bring the experience and expertise necessary to handle the daily HR functions, and well as establishing new HR processes, and leading new employee relations initiatives.Β The ideal candidate would also be willing to support the office other administrative areas while the HR role evolves and is established.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage job postings and perform pre-interview screening
  • Complete onboarding and orientation of new employees, and assist with benefit administration
  • Maintain employee files, and ensure compliance with laws and regulations
  • Coordinate annual benefits renewal
  • Provide recommendations to leadership to areas of improvement
  • Coordinate and assist with employee performance reviews, provide guidance and recommendations
  • Provide recommendations on the on-going employee handbook review
  • Help foster a positive work culture, and assist and coach employees and managers on positive employee relations
  • Utilize online HR & Payroll system in combination with other tools and technologies to manage HR tasks
  • Support the office with various administrative tasks, including but not limited to accounts receivable or accounts payable.
Requirements


  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and computer savvy
  • 2-5 years Human Resources experience required, including experience at small to large companies
  • Bachelor's Degree in business administration/human resources or related field preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize, while working as a team
  • Detail oriented and ability to multitask
  • Strong knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
  • Experience in a manufacturing or shop environment a plus
