Summary:
As the Human Resource Generalist at Turbo Solutions, you will partner with senior management to develop and lead the HR department. You will play a crucial role in implementing HR policies, managing employee relations, Recruitment, Benefits administration, and ensuring compliance with all state and federal HR guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Human Resources and payroll, with exceptional communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Onboarding
- Manage the recruitment process, including job descriptions, posting positions, phone screening, and interviewing.
- Oversee drug testing, background checks, and physicals for new hires.
- Conduct new hire orientation, onboarding schedules and benefits enrollment.
- Conduct 30/60/90 day check-ins with new employees
Payroll and Time & Attendance
- Process biweekly payroll via Paycom & run payroll reports for Finance department
- Administer and record keeping for paid time off balances
- Administer and update spreadsheets related to hours, OT and efficiency
Training and Learning Management
- Collaborate with management to design and implement training programs.
- Support leadership development initiatives.
Employee Relations
- Oversee employee relations and incidents, including investigations, terminations, and progressive discipline
- Manage confidential employee records.
- Conduct annual and semi-annual performance coaching reviews.
- Workers Comp administration
Other
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
- Benefits Administration and record keeping
- Maintain and update the Employee Handbook, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
- Prepare and maintain job descriptions.
- Provide safety support and training, in collaboration with Safety Team
- Organize employee engagement activities and develop engagement strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
- Strong knowledge of HR policies and procedures.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Knowledge of state and federal HR regulations.
