Summary/Objective: We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join the HR team, reporting to the Talent Manager. This role combines core HR operations with a strong focus on full-cycle recruiting, from sourcing and outreach to onboarding top talent for our growing portfolio.

Classification: Exempt
Hybrid Schedule – 3 Days in the office/2 days’ work from home

Essential function/Responsibilities: duties include but are not limited to the following

  • Source candidates using job boards, social media, professional networks, and community partnerships.
  • Screen resumes, conduct preliminary phone interviews, and coordinate interview schedules.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, role requirements, and preferred candidate profiles.
  • Maintain and report on recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, candidate pipelines, sources of hire, etc.).
  • Develop and maintain job descriptions for all positions in assigned portfolio.
  • Ensure compliance with EEOC, Fair Housing, and other regulatory requirements during recruiting and hiring processes.
  • Manage new hire onboarding, including documentation, orientation, and benefits enrollment.
  • Collaborate with department managers to ensure smooth integration of new hires into their teams.
  • ???????Track completion of mandatory trainings and certifications.
  • Assist employees and managers with HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Perform HR file audits to ensure all documentation is complete and compliant.
  • Assist with coordination of training programs and professional development opportunities.
  • Represent the company at job fairs, school recruiting events, and community programs.
  • Build relationships with local universities, community organizations, and trade associations to strengthen candidate pipelines.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Bilingual – Spanish preferred
  • Paychex experience is a plus
  • Previous HR experience preferred (2-3 years) with heavy recruiting experience a must.
  • Must have knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Strong sense of urgency is a must
  • Knowledge of Labor Laws and HR Policies and procedures are a preferred

Salary Range: $75,000 - $80,000
