About the Role 

As a Human Resources Generalist, you’ll support OneEighty's mission by managing key HR functions, including onboarding, HRIS administration, training coordination, and employee engagement. This role ensures regulatory compliance, enhances employee experience, and provides operational support across all HR processes.

 

What You’ll Do 

  • Administer and maintain the onboarding, recruitment, and performance modules of the HRIS. 
  • Maintain accurate employee records within all HRIS modules and electronic personnel files. 
  • Prepare employment documents such as offer letters, change forms, and onboarding materials. 
  • Manage internal and external job postings in compliance with department policies. 
  • Conduct onboarding activities, including background checks, exclusion list verification, and ID badge creation. 
  • Ensure completion of all new hire paperwork and orientation requirements. Maintain new hire training checklists and conduct 60-day check-ins. 
  • Organize quarterly Employee Orientation sessions. 
  • Manage the Learning Management System (Relias), including adding/removing employees, assigning courses, and updating the course catalog. 
  • Track and ensure compliance with all mandated trainings (e.g., Medicaid, CARF, federal/state requirements). 
  • Coordinate employee recognition programs, incentive programs, and monthly birthdays gifts. 
  • Support internal communication by maintaining the HR Huddle on SharePoint and updating Labor Law Postings. 
  • Complete monthly reporting as outlined by the department calendar. 
  • Maintain HRTeam email inbox and ensure timely responses. 
  • Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required. 

 

What You Bring 

  • Required: High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of related experience. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, collaboration platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, RingCentral). Experience with human resources information systems is preferred. 
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially. Ability to maintain confidentiality under HIPAA standards. 
  • Must be highly flexible; able to accommodate the changing needs of the Organization. 
  • Ability to learn quick. 
  • Excellent verbal and listening skills. 
  • Strong organizational skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize. Ability to work well under pressure with minimal supervision. Willing to handle a variety of tasks.
  • Valid Ohio Driver License with insurable driving record
  • Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • May not receive clinical services at OneEighty and if in recovery, two years of continuous sobriety required
