Job Title: Human Resources Generalist
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Schedule: Monday–Friday, standard business hours

The HR Generalist supports the employee lifecycle from offer stage through onboarding, employee changes, and offboarding in a multi-state environment. This role ensures HR processes are accurate, consistent, and compliant while maintaining high-quality employee data across systems.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare, send, and track offer letters once candidates are approved by hiring managers
  • Manage candidates through the post-offer process, including pre-employment requirements and onboarding
  • Coordinate and monitor E-Verify, background checks, and other onboarding requirements to ensure timely completion
  • Track and follow up on new hire paperwork to ensure accuracy and completion
  • Maintain accurate employee data within HRIS and related systems
  • Process personnel action forms (PAFs) for promotions, transfers, pay changes, and other employee updates
  • Coordinate offboarding activities, including system access updates and separation documentation
  • Manage and respond to inquiries in the HR inbox, routing or escalating as needed
  • Support managers and employees with questions related to HR processes and policies
  • Ensure employee records are accurate, complete, and compliant
  • Follow established HR procedures and escalate issues or compliance concerns as needed

What We’re Looking For

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent HR-related experience
  • 1–3 years of hands-on HR experience supporting onboarding and employee lifecycle processes
  • Experience preparing and sending offer letters and managing post-offer workflows
  • Proficiency in HRIS and ATS systems for onboarding, employee data management, and lifecycle transactions
  • Working knowledge of I-9, E-Verify, and employment compliance requirements
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to stay organized and manage high-volume work

Qualifications
