High Bar Brands is seeking a skilled and experienced On-Site Human Resources Generalist to join our team. Provide HR guidance to our manufacturing operations and fostering a culture of excellence.
Principle Accountabilities
- Recruitment: Oversee the recruitment process for Tualatin based positions; oversee the process from requisition through orientation and onboarding.
- Employee Relations: Serve as the point of contact on all employee relations issues, providing guidance, conduct investigations, and resolve workplace concerns, and support to management and employees to resolve conflicts and ensure a positive work environment.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Leave of Absence: Responsible for compliant oversite and administration of FMLA, and other relevant state and federal regulations/programs. Applies knowledge of disability programs as appropriate.
Required Skills and Abilities
- Excellent interpersonal, team, time management and follow-through skills.
- HR recruiting experience to include positions as management level.
- HR generalist experience with an emphasis on training, management coaching, employee relations, conflict resolution, and management/organizational development preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to manage confidential information.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 3 years in a generalist role.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Experience in interviewing, employment, training, employee relations, compensation, and benefits.
- Experience with HRIS applications, preferably ADP Workforce Now.
- Manufacturing background preferred.
Working Conditions
- Be available for 1st and 2nd shift meetings
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
- Will typically work in an office setting, with occasional travel for recruitment events, training sessions, or offsite meetings.
