Primary Responsibilities:

HR Core Operations and Compliance:

  • Administer and manage all statutory leaves and statutory compliance for the organization (FMLA, ADA, military, maternity, and FLSA, OSHA, EEOC, DOL etc.)
  • Administer and track all workers' compensation claims by collecting incident reports, coordinating with workers compensation carriers to manage claims costs, running monthly updates and loss reports, and projecting to management team on close of claims.
  • Address all personnel grievances and concerns in a timely and confidential manner by conducting investigations, interviews, bringing each case to a closure, and ensuring effective documentation and any potential corrective action process.
  • Maintain and update personnel employment status by coordinating required documentation, updating HRIS, company organizational charts, employee directory, and personnel files etc.
  • Participate in progressive disciplinary process by consulting with managers and assisting them in creating and delivering written notices as needed with a focus on implementing functional performance plans where necessary.
  • Manage and conduct the full off-boarding cycle by conducting exit interviews, termination meetings, post-employment correspondence, preparing for and attending all unemployment hearings and appeals.
  • Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment for each state the company has work locations in. This includes legal federal and state standards and statutes for union and non-union employees.
  • Participate in developing, updating, and implementing policies and procedural manuals.
  • Execute annual filing of EEO-1, OSHA, as well as additional reporting to the department of labor.
  • Facilitate and participate in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars as required.
  • Maintain employee files and prepare documentation for audits
  • Prepare for, and run all quarterly safety meetings, take action on employee suggestions or concerns.

Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Ensure all on boarding documentation from new hires is correct and entered into HRIS system.
  • Develop library of job descriptions for TicketNetwork roles and develop job descriptions for new roles as the need arises.
  • Conduct new hire orientations (employees, contractors and interns), having full knowledge of company policy and practice.
  • Assist in management of agreements for all third party and individual contractors, writing agreements, executing account set-up, and following up on any extension of contractor end dates.

Training, Development, and Engagement:

  • Develop and implement strong employee engagement strategies to increase employee satisfaction and longevity within the organization
  • Train new and existing managers on leadership ethics, HRIS tools, performance management, and any other state/federal rule change.
  • Participate in developing department goals, objectives and systems.
  • Assist in evaluation of reports, decisions and results in relation to the established departmental goals. Recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and the services performed.

Payroll and Benefits:

  • Provide timecard and timesheet review, approval, and audit to support payroll processing to align with company timelines and policies.
  • Provide support for benefits information and administration to employees. Collaborate with Union partners where relevant for union employees.

**Perform other related duties as required and assigned.**

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Assist with full life cycle recruiting and on-boarding when needed to support company growth.
  • Prepare offer packets and gain approval to extend offers to support talent acquisition team as needed.
  • Work directly with leadership and HR teams to develop strong core values that exemplify TicketNetwork's mission as a company, venue, and employer.
  • Act as the backup for the company payroll processing.

Schedule:

Full Time - Monday-Friday, 9:00AM to 6:00PM
Availability outside of traditional work hours, including evenings and weekends, may be necessary to support business operations.

**This position will require travel between the venue location in Manhattan and operations Headquarters in South Windsor, CT. The expectation is that three days per week will be at the Times Square venue, and two days per week will be in South Windsor, CT. Depending on training and other factors, this could require flexibility for up to five days per week in NYC for the first few months.**
