Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to join our team. This role is responsible for a variety of Human Resources functions, including, but not limited to, payroll, recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, employee relations, and performance management.

Duties

  • Adheres to Aspiro's mission, core values, policies and procedures, applicable rules and regulations, contracts, service agreements, licensing, and other requirements.
  • Establishes and maintains a positive working relationship among peers/staff through honest, supportive interactions and integrity.
  • Protects and safeguards all confidential information about its clients, propriety information on Aspiro and its operations. Confidential information should only be shared on a need-to-know basis to perform their job.
  • Performs benefits administration to include change reporting, approving invoices for payment, communicating benefit information and responding to/aiding in questions to employees.
  • Prepares payroll by making any changes due to wage, hours, garnishments, HSA, and any benefit deductions. Ensures that each employee’s information is correct prior to payroll submission by working in conjunction with finance/HR leads. Completes all necessary reporting for each payroll period.
  • Provide support to the receptionist, as needed.
  • Assist in maintaining and coordinating employee recognition programs, as requested.
  • Track training courses for all staff and assist in set-up as required.
  • Supports/provides New Hire Orientation to each new staff, as well as support all new hire intakes for Client and Respite workers.
  • Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and conducting background checks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Payroll processing experience preferred.
  • Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and professionally.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and regulations is a plus.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR is a plus.
     
Salary Description
$24 - $28 / hour, based on experience
