Columbus Airport Marriott is looking for an HR Generalist to join our team.
Job Summary:
The HR Generalist is responsible for leading the HR function, overseeing all aspects of human resources including recruitment, associate relations, training and development, performance management, benefits administration, compliance, and organizational development. The role is a key member of the hotel’s Executive Committee and collaborates with department leaders to maintain a positive and productive workplace culture in alignment with the hotel’s service standards and brand values. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, capable of fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence organizational development and employee engagement.

Education, Experience, and Skills (Qualifications/Requirements):
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in a full-service or luxury hotel environment strongly preferred.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR) is a plus.
- Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish or other) preferred
