Our client is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support day-to-day HR operations while contributing to site-wide projects and initiatives. This role covers recruiting, onboarding, payroll/timekeeping support, and employee relations in a manufacturing/distribution setting. Job Responsibilities -
- Lead hiring efforts across hourly and professional roles, managing everything from job postings to onboarding.
- Facilitate orientation sessions and set up personnel files with precise data entry in ADP WFN.
- Keep HRIS and timekeeping systems accurate and assist supervisors with payroll readiness.
- Advise managers and staff on policy interpretation and everyday HR matters.
- Coordinate engagement events, training, and wellness programs to support culture.
- Act as a go-to resource for HR inquiries, bringing in senior HR partners when appropriate.
- Generate reports and partner with leadership to strengthen performance and staffing practices.
- Take part in HR initiatives that drive efficiency and employee experience across the organization.
Job Requirements -
- Associate"s degree in HR, Business, or related field (Bachelor"s preferred).
- 2+ years of HR Generalist experience; background in manufacturing or distribution a plus.
- Familiarity with HRIS, payroll, and time/attendance systems; ADP Workforce Now preferred.
- Strong background in recruiting and onboarding at multiple levels.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
- Organized and detail-focused with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint with solid communication skills.
- Self-starter who works independently while knowing when to involve HR leadership.
