Position Summary
The HR Generalist supports the organization by providing professional‑level human resources services in employee development, employee relations, recruitment, compliance, HR operations, and community engagement. This role plays a key part in cultivating a strong workplace culture, supporting talent management initiatives, and ensuring adherence to federal and state labor laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate job postings and manage applicant tracking systems.
- Screen resumes and conducts initial interviews.
- Facilitate onboarding processes, including new hire orientation and completion of employment documentation.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Support conflict resolution and employee relations matters, escalating complex issues as appropriate.
- Promote and maintain a positive, inclusive, and compliant workplace culture.
- Audit personnel files to ensure completeness and compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in accordance with legal and organizational standards.
- Assist with internal audits and the preparation of regulatory reports.
- Support the planning and coordination of employee training and development programs.
- Track training completion and maintain related documentation.
- Assist in identifying and facilitating professional development opportunities for staff.
- Maintain HRIS systems and generate reports to support data-driven decision-making.
- Participate in HR initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement and improving operational efficiency.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a human resources or related role.
- Proficiency in HRIS
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification is advantageous but not required
