SUMMARY
Performs recruitment, onboarding, hiring, disciplinary, investigations, evaluations, coaching, training, and administrative duties for senior management. Performs duties of a highly confidential nature. This is a salaried, 40 hour a week position working at 19 Bellemeade Avenue, Smithtown NY 11787.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Commit to Strategics' Vision, Mission, Values, Key Success Approaches,
Supervise the day-to-day human resources operations of entire company
Manage hiring team for mass hires including hiring/selection, scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, development, and support
Manage temporary associates and tasks assigned
Build, improve and maintain effective relationships with client, employees, and vendors such as employment related search engines
Coordinate necessary support services with account managers to effectively manage client site to meet or exceed financial and operational goals and provide quality customer service
Run weekly compliance checks for I-9, training, job boards, on boarding
Reports / Administrative
Provide administrative support, to include:
Type correspondence, to include word processing/typing of letters, memos, forms, policies, and procedures (includes handling of confidential information).
When an employee is terminated create a termination letter for the terminated employee and address an envelope. Sample letters are located on server under Post Orders/Templates > Termination Letter.
Maintain secure files to protect confidential information.
Work independently and within a team on special and nonrecurring and ongoing projects.
Create and oversee Social Media postings and announcements about the company.
Oversee and manage the company’s Employment Program.
Manage all general liability suits and documentation.
Communicate and manage documentation for all employees and clients with:

Paycom – On Boarding / Posting Job Positions
Perform new hire onboarding through Company human resources platform Paycom. Ensures efficient hire and completion of Paycom applicant to include admin approval of application, approval of pending admin review status, review, troubleshooting and approval of E-Verify status, I-9 verification and WOTC and background check if applicable. Ensures all applicants’ drivers licenses, security guard identifications/licenses, retired/active police identifications and social security cards and any other credentials are uploaded into the Paycom system under the applicant.
Oversee and implement the Company Progressive Disciplinary Action Program
Talent Acquisition
E-Learning
In cases such as Alabama, New York, New Jersey, Georgia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania that require additional state specific licensing paperwork direct the applicant to go our website human resource page and complete step 2 and then upon notification of completed step 2 upload the document to their applicant file.
When requested assist with collection of Government required paperwork such as 139s or clearance packages.
Performance Evaluations
Ensures that all mangers are conducting quarterly, and annual performance evaluations and they are being uploaded into the employee’s profile.
Ensure employee feedback surveys are sent and returned, quarterly.
Ensure that self evals/client surveys are sent and conducted, quarterly.
Affirmative Action Plan (done in Paycom Talent Management)
Ensures that company plan is being followed and conducts investigations into allegations.
Accident Investigation
Ensures that company plan is being followed and conducts investigations into incidents.
Notify executive team or brief us on litigation, potential risk/lawsuits and any other item that does not fit into the normal course of business.

Administer and evaluate Employee Satisfaction Surveys
Create strategies and incentives in response to survey results
Benefits
Responsible for administration of employee benefits for the entire organization. As needed, provides special guidance and assistance to all locations on various employee benefit plans. Surveys industry and/or community to determine company's competitive position in employee benefits. Develops, recommends, and installs approved, new, or modified plans and employee benefit policies, and supervises administration of existing plans. Develops cost control procedures to assure maximum coverage at the least possible cost to company and employee
Handles benefit inquiries and complaints to ensure quick, equitable, courteous resolution. Maintains contact in person, and by phone or mail, with hospitals, physicians, insurance companies, employees, and beneficiaries to facilitate proper and complete utilization of benefits for all employees. Supervises maintenance of personnel records for all sales and paid personnel. Supervises maintenance of enrollment, application, and claims records for benefit plans.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, and presentation software.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.
Must have an elevated level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Maintains a valid Driver's License.
