Position Summary

Provide varied administrative, and professional support duties required to deliver core administrative functions efficiently and effectively across Human Resources Department operations, especially with employment, benefits, and employee relations activities.


Essential Duties & Functions

  • Schedule interviews, manage onboarding, and oversee employee hiring and termination in the HR system.
  • Develop and deliver onboarding plans, educating new hires on HR policies and procedures.
  • Conduct employment and background checks as required.
  • Create access badges and set up biometric enrollment for new hires.
  • Support credentialing operations as needed.
  • Maintain and upload employee documents in HR software and track hiring processes.
  • Communicate start dates to hiring’s managers and create IT tickets for new hire logins/assets.
  • Monitor licensure and certification records.
  • Assist employees with HR-related questions and support employee relations.
  • Contribute to organizational development and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the HR Manager to resolve HR issues and escalate sensitive matters.
  • Assist in recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and employee retention efforts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, TFHC, state, federal, and accreditation regulations.


Required Education, Certifications, Licenses, & Training

Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent


Required Years of Experience 

Minimum 3 of experience working in HR, ideally with a mix of responsibilities such as recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, and compliance.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities

  • Must be computer literate with the ability to create reports and letters using all MS Applications-, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and HR Systems (ATS/HRMS)
  • Must have a great attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment 
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
