Competitive Compensation: $65,000–$78,000 base (DOE)

What You’ll Do:

As an HR Generalist, you’ll be the go-to for teammate benefits and leave programs while supporting broader HR initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate health benefits (medical, dental, vision, STD/LTD, life, EAP, etc.)
  • Coordinate 401(k) plan enrollment, contributions, and compliance
  • Manage FSA and HSA account activity
  • Handle leave of absence programs (FMLA, CO FAMLI, military, personal, etc.)
  • Support unemployment and workers’ compensation claims
  • Partner on special projects that support HR and company-wide goals
  • Assist with reporting, data analysis, and HRIS updates
  • Deliver presentations or trainings as needed to teammates or managers

Required Skills & Traits:

  • Advanced Excel user (pivot tables, formulas, analysis)
  • High attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Comfortable with public speaking, training, and presenting to peers
  • Strong collaboration and cross-team communication skills
  • Excellent time management and ability to balance priorities

 

Experience & Education:

  • Prior experience in health benefits, retirement plans, and leave administration (preferred)
  • Understanding of COBRA, FMLA, CO FAMLI, ACA, and related compliance (preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) (required)
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems (ADP WorkforceNow is a plus) (preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (preferred)
  • Certifications preferred: aPHR, PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or CEBS

Work Schedule:

  • Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm (40+ hours/week) onsite in Colorado Springs CO 80916 at our Corporate Headquarters
  • Additional hours as needed to support business needs
  • 98% office, 2% local travel
  • Occasionally lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs
