As an HR Generalist, you play a vital role in fostering a positive workplace culture while ensuring the smooth operation of key human resources functions. From talent acquisition and employee relations to administration and compliance, your expertise helps organizations build engaged, productive teams. Your ability to balance strategic initiatives with day-to-day HR responsibilities makes you an essential partner in driving business success and supporting employees throughout their career journey. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple HR functions effectively. The HR Generalist will focus on various departments and business units. Bilingual (English and Spanish) strongly preferred as a third of our workforce is Hispanic.
Essential Functions
Recruit the best people
Collaborate with department managers on a regular basis and proactively identify future hiring needs. Coordinate recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screening, and onboarding. Be able to attract candidates using various sources, like social media networks and employee referrals.
Maintain positive relationships between the company and our employees
Support employee relations by addressing concerns, conducting investigations, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
Champion the employee’s effectiveness development journey
Support both the manager and the employee in the ongoing process of communicating and clarifying job responsibilities, priorities, performance expectations, feedback processes and development planning that optimize an employee's performance and aligns with organizational strategic goals.
Ensuring Legal and Policy Compliance
Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and industry regulations by staying updated on legal requirements, enforcing workplace policies, and addressing violations. Our priority is to be consistent in our practices and help maintain a fair, ethical, and legally compliant workplace. This role is responsible for maintaining and developing HR policies, procedures and the Ball handbook to support the company.
Communicate, communicate, communicate
