Description

The didgwalic Wellness Center is seeking a driven and positive Human Resources Generalist to join our integrated care clinic that combines primary care, behavioral health, and opiate treatment all in one place. The HR Generalist will run the daily functions of the HR department, including administering pay, benefits, and leave, running reports in the HRIS system, full-cycle recruitment, and enforcing company policies and practices.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7am - 3pm

Regular Duties:

  • Full-cycle recruiting for all exempt and non-exempt positions.
  • Assists department managers in policy interpretation and compliance with established human resources-related policies and procedures.
  • Proactively communicates and answers questions regarding policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, opportunities for promotion, and employee benefits.
  • Plays an active role in employee relations on a wide range of human resources subjects, and provides coaching as appropriate for conversations and implementation of performance improvement processes
  • Engages problem-solving with an "open door approach" to assist employees in resolving work-related issues.
  • Coordinates benefits, including enrollment, processing of documentation, responding to and managing leave requests, responding to employee questions, and performing related compliance and reconciliation.
  • Provides project support utilizing HRIS to include preparation, data collection, report creation, and distribution as requested by the organization.
  • Maintains, audits, and performs updates to Human Resources Information System (HRIS), including, but not limited to, system design, testing, implementation, and rollout of HR technology initiatives and process improvements.
  • Maintain accurate, timely information in initial employment paperwork and in electronic employee files
  • Administers and manages workplace injury claims, coordinating modified-duty/light-duty/return-to-work programs.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive Human Resources experience is required.
  • Experience in the administration of benefits and compensation programs, and other Human Resources recognition and engagement programs and processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential highly desirable.
