St. Ann Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is looking for an experienced and approachable HR Generalist to support the daily HR operations of our skilled nursing facility. In this full-time role, you’ll work closely with leadership and staff to manage recruitment, employee relations, payroll, compliance, and onboarding. You'll be part of a dedicated team that supports not only the medical and social needs of our residents, but also the wellbeing of the staff who care for them.

Responsibilities:


· Partner with the home office recruitment team to source, attract, and retain top talent

· Coordinate and participate in new hire onboarding and orientation

· Track and submit all paperwork for new hires and status changes including but not limited to; transfers, promotions, schedule changes, terminations, FMLA/LOA, Works Compensation

· Manage payroll process, ensuring time cards are accurate and approved.

· Support and coach managers on employee relations and performance conversations

· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of state and federal employment laws; ensure compliance and reduce risk

· Assist employees with understanding their benefits, support open enrollment, and respond to general questions regarding the range of benefits offered.

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field and 3+ years of HR generalist experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience

· Experience in healthcare or long-term care setting is strongly preferred

· Working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, FLSA, HIPAA, and other relevant employment laws

· Comfort using HRIS and payroll systems; experience with timekeeping and scheduling software a plus
