Northwest Respiratory Services is seeking an experienced HR professional to join our team as an HR Generalist. This role will focus primarily on payroll processing, benefits administration, and leave management, while also supporting compensation initiatives. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, compliance-driven, and able to balance accuracy with employee support.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Processing: Manage bi-weekly payroll cycles with accuracy and timeliness. Ensure proper calculation of benefits deductions and perform carrier connection audits. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
Benefits Administration: Serve as primary contact for benefits-related questions and issue resolution. Lead annual open enrollment, including employee communication and system updates.
FMLA & Leave of Absence: Administer FMLA and other leave programs in compliance with regulations. Track leave requests, approvals, and return-to-work processes. Provide guidance to employees and managers on leave policies.
Compensation & Salary Surveys: Conduct salary surveys to benchmark market competitiveness. Support compensation planning and pay equity initiatives
Compliance & Reporting: Assist with annual state and federal reports, affirmative action plans, and audits. Update benefits, process terminations, final checks, and manage COBRA.
