Summary

We are looking for a Human Resources Generalist in our Recruitment area.
This individual will perform full life cycle recruiting from a combination of internal and external sources to fill positions for the Great Lakes Water Authority.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure strong communication and collaboration across hiring teams and leadership
  • Promote our employer brand while utilizing various advertising techniques to attract top talent
  • Manage the recruitment strategy and execution for multiple openings, from the initial research and planning phase to sourcing and candidate identification, assessment, offer, close and pre-boarding
  • Consult with hiring managers on essential position requirements and responsibilities, editing postings to include desired skills and experience
  • Leverage sourcing methodologies to identify and acquire specialized talent across the skill set spectrum in key geographies, with a keen focus on diverse talent pipelines and strategies
  • Interview and evaluate a candidate's skills, experience, and alignment with our core values and position qualifications
  • Build rapport with internal and external candidates and deliver positive candidate experience through proactive, authentic communication and efficient process management
  • Successfully close and fill positions on time while adhering to all recruitment, hiring, and onboarding best practices
  • Partner and cultivate business relationships and participate in college, university, professional associations, and community organization career events
  • Prepare recruiting metric reports, review compensation data presentations, and perform job market analysis
  • Travel to assigned facilities to meet with candidates and GLWA customer group
  • Write and Prepare interview questions
  • Communicate with employees, leadership, and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate or explain information, and address concerns
  • Prepare job offers

Required Education and Experience

At the time of application; applicant must:

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, organizational development, labor relations, psychology or a related discipline of study
• A minimum of three (3) years of recent full life cycle recruiting in a fast-paced multi-location environment.

Other Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License and can commute to GLWA facilities and worksites
