Cosentino's Food Stores is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team. This role is crucial in supporting our employees and ensuring smooth HR operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong Employee Relations skills, be detail-oriented, and have a solid understanding of Labor Law. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a thriving organization, utilizing skills in Performance Management, Employee Onboarding, and Training and Development.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and resolve employee relations issues, conducting thorough investigations and ensuring confidentiality.
- Oversee the Employee Onboarding process, ensuring a positive experience for new hires.
- Administer and support Performance Management programs, providing guidance to managers and employees.
- Assist with the development and delivery of Training and Development initiatives to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data, demonstrating strong organizational skills.
- Provide guidance on Labor Law compliance and ensure adherence to company policies.
- Handle employee inquiries and provide excellent Customer Service.
- Collaborate with management on employee engagement strategies.
- Utilize Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
- Demonstrate strong Communication and Interpersonal Communications skills in all interactions.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist role.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- General knowledge of Labor Law and HR practices.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
- Strong Problem Solving and Investigation skills.
- Excellent Writing and Time Management skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to travel to various store locations, with mileage reimbursement provided.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or SHRM-CP certification.
- Experience with HRIS systems.
- Experience in the retail industry.
- Demonstrated Leadership abilities.
