About the Role
Legacy Career Solutions LLC is recruiting on behalf of a confidential organization for a Human Resources Generalist. This temp-to-hire position is based on-site in Los Angeles, CA, and offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to contribute to a dynamic and evolving environment.
The Human Resources Generalist plays a key role in supporting the daily operations of the Human Resources department, offering high-level support to HR leadership. This position encompasses a broad range of responsibilities including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, HRIS management, and special projects.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle recruitment including job postings, screening, interviews, and onboarding
Lead onboarding sessions and conduct 30/60/90-day follow-ups
Maintain HRIS data integrity and support payroll processes through timely approvals
Provide guidance to employees and management on HR policies and general inquiries
Assist in internal investigations and ensure consistent policy application
Promote and coordinate health and wellness initiatives
Analyze HR data and assist in the preparation of compliance reports and audits
Participate in HR process improvement projects and organizational development efforts
Qualifications
3+ years of Human Resources experience, with 2-3 years in a Generalist role
Bachelorโs degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
SHRM-CP or HRCI-PHR certification strongly preferred
Experience supporting workforces of 300+ employees
Strong knowledge of California labor laws and HR compliance
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems
Experience in a unionized work environment is a plus
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Bi Lingual Spanish preferred
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting and computer use
Ability to lift up to 15 lbs as needed
Must be able to navigate throughout company facilities
Compensation & Benefits
$37.00 - $41.00 per hour based on experience
