Loadmaster is a rapidly growing national manufacturer of refuse trucks with customers all over the country. Garbage never stops, it always needs to be picked up no matter the weather or the economy and our products play an integral role in that process. Some of our customers include major cities and hauling companies who depend on our products in order to keep their cities, parks, and towns clean and healthy.

We work Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. CST.

 

Summary
A successful candidate should have computer & communication skills as well as being able to work as a team or independently. Job details include answering phones and handling employee situations. They are responsible for managing conflict resolution and exercising sound decision-making skills. They have a strong understanding of employee relationships, efficient staffing management, and payroll and benefits administration. The ideal candidate will be a critical thinking problem-solver.

 

Essential Functions

  • Perform required procedures to process payroll including data input, timecards, balancing and maintaining accurate staff payroll records.
  • Assisting with the administration of the company benefit programs.
  • New employee orientation and onboarding.
  • Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules and regulations.
  • Maintaining electronic and paper records of employees.
  • Assist with the recruitment process by advertising for and identifying candidates, as well as performing pre-employment reference and background checks.
  • Assist with scheduling meetings and interviews with prospective employees.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Attention to Detail is a must
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Required Education and/or Experience

  • Associate Degree or greater preferred 
  • Experience in a Human Resources function preferred

 

Qualifications

All employees are expected to have a friendly, positive attitude, a sense of urgency, and the ability to multi-task and solve problems. The following qualifications are required for this position.

  • Must be able to pass a background screening and drug screening
  • Basic math skills

Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
