The Human Resources Manager serves as a culture champion and learning leader for Dellshire Resort, with primary responsibility for training, onboarding, and associate development initiatives. This role designs and delivers engaging learning experiences that prepare curators to deliver exceptional guest service while fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace.

In addition to training leadership, this position supports associate engagement events, early-career recruitment efforts with local schools and colleges and assists with day-to-day employee relations matters. The Human Resources Manager plays a key role in creating a welcoming, people-first environment where every associate (Realm Keeper) feels valued, prepared, and inspired to grow their career at Dellshire Resort.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead orientation programs for all new Realm Keepers.
  • Develop and facilitate training sessions including service culture, brand standards, leadership development, compliance, and operational skills.
  • Partner with department leaders to identify training needs and create tailored development plans.
  • Maintain training calendars, materials, and tracking systems to ensure completion and compliance.
  • Support leadership development workshops, supervisor training, and succession planning initiatives.
  • Monitor training effectiveness through feedback, metrics, and performance outcomes.
  • Typical Monday through Friday, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, or events as needed.

Associate Engagement & Culture

  • Assist with planning and executing associate engagement initiatives including recognition programs, team celebrations, hiring events, and resort-wide activities.
  • Support programs such as Realm Keeper of the Month, service awards, and seasonal appreciation events.
  • Promote Dellshire’s culture, mission, and values through creative and meaningful experiences.
  • Assist with internal communications and HR storytelling that strengthen morale and connection.

Recruitment & Community Outreach

  • Support recruitment efforts through partnerships with local high schools, colleges, and community organizations.
  • Attend career fairs, hiring events, and workforce development programs to build Dellshire’s talent pipeline.
  • Assist with internship, seasonal, and early-career programs.
  • Support hiring needs during peak seasons and events.

Employee Relations & HR Support

  • Assist with employee relations matters including attendance, coaching, and policy interpretation.
  • Support investigations and documentation of basic workplace concerns.
  • Provide guidance to managers on performance management and corrective action processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, employment laws, and HR best practices.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and documentation.
  • Support additional HR functions and special projects as assigned.


 

What are we looking for?

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Hospitality, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of progressive HR experience, with strong focus on training or learning & development.
  • Experience in hospitality, resort, or service-oriented environments is strongly preferred.
  • Strong facilitation, presentation, and public speaking skills.
  • Experience planning events or engagement initiatives are a plus.
  • Working knowledge of employee relations practices and employment law.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems (Workday, ADP, or similar).
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Energetic, approachable, and passionate about people development and culture-building.
