Develop, train and manage the Human Resources & General Affairs Team.
Guide the Human Resources & General Affairs Team on the recruitment to ensure compliance with Affirmative Action and EEO. Advise on final selection of top candidate and salary proposals.
Responsible for total benefits program including the monitoring of health and other insurance costs. Delegate communication with insurance broker and vendors, and administration of 401(k) Plan
Manage the development and maintenance of a proactive organizational compensation structure based on labor market assessments provided by the team.
Manage merit-based pay and advise on specific compensation adjustments. Manage Employee Discretionary Bonus Plan. Administer Sales Incentive (commissions) Plans.
Plan and supervise/delegate annual performance assessment process, educate employees on changes to the process, and advise on effective feedback and proper documentation.
Primary officer for disciplinary actions ensuring consistency, fairness, proper language, and troubleshooting employee behavioral issues.
Enhance and develop human resource policies and practices according to corporate philosophy and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
Responsible for Employee Handbook content and policies including but not limited to employee relations, EEO, ADA, FMLA, harassment prevention, dispute resolution, and disciplinary action.
Serve as advisor on payroll issues and the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Advise division heads on human resource and policy issues; proactive in suggesting changes as well as managerial performance expectations.
Manage the development and implementation of new training, development and promotion programs. This includes training and development programs on company culture, philosophy and policy.
Delegate and oversee payroll processing, payroll related account reconciliations and journal entries, administration of Corporate Amex programs, Corporate company car programs and the related auto insurance certificates/ID cards and auto accident claims.

Knowledge and Skills
A minimum of seven years of broad-based HR experience, three of which must be at a management level.
Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred.
HR designation preferred (PHR/SPHR).
Understands all functional and technical aspects of the HR profession.
Superior oral and written communication skills.
Skillful problem solver in the management of a workforce.
Demonstrated ability to interface and maintain effective relationships with all departments and all employee levels.
Strong knowledge of HRIS and Microsoft Suite.
