We’re looking for a Human Resources Manager who doesn’t just do HR, they elevate it. In this role, you’ll partner closely with our Chief People Officer on high-impact initiatives, and champion efficiency, accountability, and legendary customer service across the board. Key responsibilities include owning big projects, developing organization-wide communications, and spotting opportunities to add value before others even notice the gap. As the Regional HR Manager, you’ll enhance not only our processes, but our culture, reputation, and future growth.

This role will work out of our corporate office in St. Louis, MO and will be responsible for 25% travel to Tacony’s other locations - St. James, MO, Ft. Worth, TX, and Henderson, NV.

What You'll Do     

  • Manage HR projects to include planning, coordinating tasks, and communicating updates regularly to keep projects aligned with deadlines
  • Support compensation initiatives by maintaining updated job descriptions with consistent classification & job titles, and frequent monitoring of market data for company’s salary structure & variable pay programs
  • Participate in any changes including developing job descriptions, researching market data, communicating new roles within the regional facilities to the appropriate departments. 
  • Participate in the development, implementation, support & review of all HR initiatives, policies & procedures
  • Implement HR programs and provide HR services, including; onboarding, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention and completing employee change transactions
  • Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential
  • Ensure the organization is compliant with local, state, and federal legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions 
  • Address employee questions, complaints & other employment-related issues in a timely & professional manner
  • Investigate employee disciplinary issues and conflicts; bringing them to appropriate resolution

What You'll Need    

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or Organization Development preferred and minimum of 7 years’ experience in a Human Resources position
  • Demonstrated experience with employment laws, practices and an elevated level of confidentiality and trust
  • Effective communicator, excellent organization, efficiency, and prioritization of duties
  • Strong interpersonal and coaching skills focused on fostering relationships and approachability.
  • Strength of character, ethics, commitment & reliability with an aptitude for critical thinking, problem solving and decision making

Bonus Points (Preferred)  

  • Project management skills - special projects by clarifying project objective, setting timetables and schedules, conducting research, developing & organizing information
  • Specialized training in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, safety, training, and preventive labor relations
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification
